There is a funny story in the game revolving around translating a japanese song into english and this is the very best metaphor you can bring into this topic and yep there is a certain story event revolving around the three main girls that is completly untranslated and there are also ui elements, location names and character creation ui elements and clothing that are left in japanese as well.
